Ian Hill Visits Good Shepherd

Today (June 15) we had a wonderful visit from the "Let Them Be Kids" founder Ian Hill. Mr.Hill came to our school with his wife and 3 children. Mr. Hill was able to see our school and our field where the 4 new components will be. During his visit he met some of the school staff and students. Mr.Hill and his family was greeted by our 3 student playground committee members.
Thank you Hill family for stopping by our school. It was a pleasure to meet with all of you. The school and community look forward to working again October 1 2011 on the new playground with Mr. Hill and his family.

Good Shepherd Golf Tournament a Great Success

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped in making this years golf tournament a great success!
A big thank you to all the companies in our city that contributed as sponsors and to those companies that donated silent auction gifts. Without our local community support, it would be hard to do.
The numbers have not been confirmed as of yet, but it looks like we brought in around $17,000.00.

What a great way to add to our playground project fund.
Watch for updates on the final numbers as they come in.

Grade 4 Girls Donate

Great job to Darcy, Reagon and Kaella in grade 4.
These girls took the time to make and sell, pencil toppers, bookmarks, crosses, stickers and picture frames.
They make approximately $60.00 and donated the funds to the playground project fun.
They will be selling more of these items till the end of the school year.
Thanks girls for getting us one step closer to our target.
Keep up the great work
